Gridwall panels for display are one of the most versatile displays that you will ever encounter. Any type of product and merchandise can be displayed on gridwall panels or gridwall shelving, making it very versatile, for your business. No matter which type of environment you place the gridwall display, whether it be a shop, an exhibition, trade fair or even an auction it will give a sense of space and a look that will go with the most fashionable of places.
Gridwall panels are easily assembled, once this is done they are also easy to take down. Once they are put together, they do not have to be dismantled fully, unless you wish to change the actual shape of the display. The small triangular feet, that come with the gridwall display can be packed away, without taking up any room whatsoever and can be attached, back on by an idiot. Once you have your gridwall display how you want it, whether it be a three sided placement, a cube or just a wall, then taking it down means you only have to remove the feet and fold up the rest of the unit, ready for when you need to get it out again.
The simplicity of the grid wall comes into effect whether you have the traditional booth, which allows the shopper to enter at one point, a wall or even a zig-zag effect. To piece any combination together, all you need are either some zip fasteners/ties or actual gridwall castors along the long edges of the panels. Personally, I prefer the castors made for the gridwall panels as they have a good look and fit the best.
Any formation you wish to achieve, can be done and as said before, you do not have to worry about putting it back in the same order, as it can be folded up and kept as it is. The gridwall panels themselves mainly come in two foot wide pieces and vary in height from four to eight feet high, although I‘m sure they can be found in other specifications. An entire room can be formed with a gridwall display and with the use of the castors you can even have a door sized opening. Theoretically and practically you can have a whole room which is one big display of your merchandise, then you still have more space inside the room to create many more displays. You can even have a slatgrid display, basically this is the gridwall panels made into a triangle on castors, it looks very effective and can lso save space.
Gridwall shelving on its own is a great saver of space, used with the gridwall panels you will find that anything you wish to display, is done in an attractive way. The material used for the gridwall itself, is a metal grid, which is available in black, chrome and brushed nickel. An acrylic gridwall display is also available and this will help show-off your product even more. Another option would be to spray paint the grid yourself and this way you can make it as funky or as traditional as you like.
The gridwall accessories that are available will help the look of your display no-end, but try to make sure you use the actual gridwall accessories themselves, as I have seen many stores using pieces from other displays, which frankly just don’t look right. The kind of gridwall accessories you can get, range from hooks, baskets, shelves and rails. All of these accessories will match the type of gridwall panels or display that you have ordered and can be used in as many variations as the gridwall display itself.
One thing anybody, who is displaying anything should do though, is think about the gridwall accessories they are using, with which products they are selling. I mean, it does not look that good if you are selling jewelry and you just have a big basket full of it, you need to display it separately so people can see it properly. The same would be true with clothing, so my suggestion would be to get as many gridwall accessories as you can and experiment with each one, to find the best for your products. After all you may change a certain range of product and wish you had got an accessory that you don’t have.
Many big retail companies use gridwall shelving, because it does save so much space and compliments their goods. They also use gridwall panels, for their floor space, mainly because it looks good and is cheaper than most other display units. It also stays with the ever changing fashion of the day and can be adapted to different products.
